theyfriend (@theyfriendmusic ) presents the Secret’s Out Album Release Party! with support from LANGOSTA, uglatto, Earth Boy Advance, and Séverine.
This is the live performance of theyfriend’s latest self-produced electronica album Secret’s Out! theyfriend celebrates the joyful and complex experience of transness and gender nonconformity through their music. Their latest album, Secret’s Out!, is a genrefluid maximalist celebration that gets you into the groove and out of the box into your highest self.
LANGOSTA (@emo.shakira ; part of the CASA/TECA label) is also premiering her self titled EP live for the first time at this show. Her vocals are the reincarnation of iconic house divas with a deeply experimental and punk edge to the production.
theyfriend is joined by several incredible electronica friends for support on this album release show.
Earth Boy Advance (@earthboyadvance ) sweeps you into a world of nostalgia and bitty groove, with flairs of experimental deep house and analog techno music. Earth Boy Advance released his latest EP, Drift, in March 2023.
uglatto (@uglatto ) is one of the founders of the iconic Pocari Sweat/Sweat.Biz vaporwave party in San Diego. Famous for his vapor glitch cameras, uglatto knows how to bring the heat.
Séverine (@s3v3r1n333 ) is renowned amongst the LA underground as an iconic trans electronic dance DJ. Their fusions of the most infectious pop vocals with deep underground beats have gone viral and made séverine’s tracks popular club hits post pandemic.
